He’s hand crafted in an abstract style and made out of sustainable wood and then hand painted. This little bird ornament is full of character perched on a piece of driftwood. Maybe he’s looking for some insects for lunch? He won’t find them here though as this driftwood has been treated so there’s no insects!
The bird itself measures around 9cm from beak to tail. Some variation occurs as each bird is hand crafted. Also, every piece of driftwood is different. A truly unique little bird ornament that’s perfect for that rustic decor look!

This beautiful little abstract bird ornament features a single bird perched on a piece of driftwood. Fair trade and hand crafted, this bird has been finished in shades of green and blue. Here at Shiny Happy Eco, we love how the carving marks look in different lights and as the day changes. As the bird is perched on driftwood, this ornament has a nautical feel to it. This abstract bird ornament would make a perfect gift for lovers of the seaside. Or for bird lovers of course. We think this rustic bird ornament is perfect for a bookshelf or mantlepiece. It would make a great addition to any room though!
The bird itself measures around 9cm from beak to tail. The driftwood varies from piece to piece, depending on what the artists has sourced.
Bear in mind that this is a hand crafted ornament and so sizes and paint finishes do vary a little. Every artisan leaves their own individual marks as they carve, paint and then distress the finish to achieve that rustic feel. Additionally, no two pieces of driftwood used for the plinth are the same. We think this adds to this ornament’s unique character and it’s great to know that no-one will have the exact same little bird as you!
