This Wooden Kestrel is a new arrival here at Shiny Happy Eco and has made great first impressions! The detail is incredible. Beautifully handcrafted and hand painted by highly skilled Balinese artisans this Kestrel Ornament is simply stunning! This kestrel ornament is painted with male colourings.
Standing around 20 cm tall from top and sat on top of a piece of driftwood, this Wooden Kestrel ornament will look amazing on any mantlepiece or shelf. The driftwood stand varies in height from piece to piece.
Each one of these Wooden Kestrel Ornaments is hand carved and then hand painted. The Kestrel itself is carved from albesia wood, a fast growing and sustainable wood that is lightweight. The base is driftwood that has been treated to remove any insects. Therefore every one is slightly different and won’t be exactly the same as in the pictures above. If you’re buying for yourself, no one will have the same one as you! Alternatively, these unique ornaments make for a perfect gift, especially for bird lovers.
Fair-trade, eco friendly and sustainable, this beautiful Wooden Kestrel is lovingly crafted by hand in Bali. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that we are all working ethically and fairly. They’re BAFTS registered and spend much of the year within the Bali community. This ornament is not mass produced, you’ll see that as soon as you unwrap your hand packed kestrel!
